St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy is a small single entry school, where we strive to provide an education, which develops the ‘whole child’ in a caring, Christian ethos. We have a vision that, it is our shared responsibility to ensure all children receive an education which will prepare them well for the next stage of their education and to be good law abiding citizens with a strong belief in what is right and wrong, plus a belief in themselves and their own ability. It is important that we give them the skills to aspire to be the best that they can be.
At the same time our mission statement, ‘ We value all in the name of Jesus the Christ’ permeates through all we do and supports the belief that we are all equal in God’s eyes and therefore in ours!
We celebrate the diversity of all our pupils, staff and governors and want to work together create a strong learning culture where it is safe to fail and support is given when needed.
